Daily inspection and maintenance precautions for electric hoist pulleys

Electric hoists lift objects through a sling composed of pulleys, wire ropes, and hooks. Therefore, the inspection and maintenance of pulleys can be strengthened from the following aspects to prevent accidents.

1. In daily maintenance, special attention should be paid to checking whether there are cracks in the pulley, which can also be observed through a magnifying glass. If cracks are found, they should be immediately scrapped. Do not continue to use through welding cracks.

2. Check whether there is severe friction between the pulley groove and the steel wire rope, and whether there is any phenomenon of the steel wire rope slipping out of the groove.

3. Check the wear level of the pulley. If it exceeds the allowable wear range in the design, it should be immediately scrapped and replaced with a new pulley to ensure safe operation.

4. Check if the pulley axle is securely connected, if the pulley rotates flexibly, and if there are any abnormal noises. It should be checked regularly once a month and the pulleys should be lubricated to ensure their good working condition.
